WoW vs CoH/V

Ok, I have a problem. I have decided to buy an MMORPG, but which one. I didn%26#39;t have that great an experience with buggy SWG and I played a trial of WoW and enjoyed it, BUT then read all the reviews for City of Heroes/ Villians, and it looks AMAZING! Simple gameplay, all the bad pointas of the review see m to have been fixed in the patches, and I prefer the simple combat orientated gameplay. BUT how big is the EU community, will I struggle to find anyone, or does a small community mean more nice people :P.  And I should just use forums to arange group missions. WHAT should I do?WoW vs CoH/V
Well i played CoH for about 2 years about 1 year ago .... and it was fun but only with friends the whole solo stuff is pretty boring ... and it can really really repetitive after awhile as the missions are always the same and half the time they tend to be in the same maps, but if u are willing to fight through that or got a few friends to team up with for the early half of the leveling .... then its gets better with all the AV runs and Hami run but i never really played past that ... CoV i didnt really like i liked being a baddie but other than new skins and few new powers that was all i noticed but i was playing WoW quite heavily then so i was prolly just being ignorant and just loved WoW to much then ... I think its up to choice .... the whole character creation is amazing on CoH / CoV .... and the ideas behind the new stuff seems really really worth it ... but WoW is WoW. I would say WoW is better but if u want somthing new from the wide range of Fantasy MMOs then CoH is ur next bet. WoW vs CoH/V
Well, me and my mates might be signing up so, the community will be small, but I will have people to team with.
City of Heroes/Villains is a really simple, yet really fun mmo. But if you are planning on getting any of them, and you live in the EU, then don't bother. There's 5 people on each EU server and they never wanna team up. I hate playing with EU people, they never wanna team up or anything, just solo 24/7. bah!



WoW is also a really simple mmo, but it gets boring way too quick. And when you finally hit level 60 (or 70 if you have the expansion), you'll wanna kill yourself from pure boredom. It also takes way too long to get any decent gear, unless you wanna run around in the new green stuff the expansion comes with.



SWG .. Well .. It sucks now. It didn't suck before SOE totally messed it up. Too bad, it was the best mmo around.
I just ordered CoH/V I have slihgtly higher hopes than you say for the community, as I heard that there are about 1000 on a server at any time so, if you play PM me and tell me! and, hopefully my mates will be joining! it aint that bad...I%26#39;ll find some friends - I just ordered it after all!
I found Villains to be a good break from wow but I only lasted 3 months in it but did have fun during those 3 months.Cool making unique characters and getting to try out new powers. 
Well, that don%26#39;t matter for me as I am a) not that great at games, I find nija gaiden on ninja dog challenging enough. b) a HUUUGE fan of comics and supeheroes! Love to make my own unique one!and c) getting BOTH of themSo, it should work out!
COH/V are great games, they really did something great with it. Also they just released a new update for item crafting so that should make the game a little more fun. I cant wait for the MARVEL MMO the same dev team is working on for 360 and PC :)
well id sugest WoW iv been playing WoW for over 3 years im in a big guild so the fun never stops with my guild there always contests team instance run raffels and my fav is attacking the alliance towns and killing everyone

The combat in CoH/V makes the combat in WoW seem slow and boring.  Some of the fights in CoH/V border on epic. Honestly, CoH/V has the best combat model in the business.  There are also no time-sinks like you find in other MMORPG.  Travel powers are great too!  Character customization is the best I%26#39;ve ever seen.  I%26#39;ve been playing CoH/V for the past three years and it%26#39;s rare that I see two characters that look the same.  How many MMORPGs can say that?The community in CoH/V is also a lot better than what I found in WoW.  Then again, I think a high security prison probably has a better community than WoW.
CoH is fun if you know people that you can play with though sadly, the game is slowly but surely dieng.

I have played Coh/V for a while now. The game is fun, and if you%26#39;re into superheroes and supervillains thatn it%26#39;s a hell of a game. I%26#39;m a loot whore so I miss the whole loot thing, but, overall it%26#39;s more fun than WoW. WoW just seems like a chore sometimes if you want anything good. Plus the ability to sidekick and ''whatever the other one is'' so that friends of significant level difference can still team with you and contribute was an awesome idea. All in all, CoH/V is a great game, and I don%26#39;t think it%26#39;s slowly dying. It%26#39;s doing just as well as some of the other MMo%26#39;s out there. Probably a hell of a lot better than SW:G (not intended as a bash on the SW:G community). You%26#39;ll enjoy it man, I just wish they would have developed more/different powers for CoV. Mayhem missions are the bomb, make sure to get some friends together for those.
