What's your take on ArmA and the state of our games?

I%26#39;m a huge Operation Flashpoint fan, and can%26#39;t wait to pick this title up.  I read IGN%26#39;s review and it actually made me kind of angry.  Does every game now a days HAVE to be easy and have absolute instant action and automatic saves every 30 seconds for it to be enjoyable? Are games going downhill this fast?  Pretty soon now every game is going to be simplistic point and shoot instant action bullsh+t thanks to these reviewers and kool aid drinkers.  For Christ sakes, people act like Rainbowsix Vegas is a tactical shooter!Trust me, I could go on and on for ages... but I%26#39;ll end it here, what%26#39;s your take? What's your take on ArmA and the state of our games?
I agree. ArmA scores are also brought down by lack of polish, but even with all the bugs it%26#39;s still easily 8+ game. ArmA difficulty was refreshing after nonsense like Vegas or GRAW(especialy console version)What's your take on ArmA and the state of our games?
Well for someone like me, thats someone who generally plays all games on easy and still has a hard time, i like this kind of thing. They should however make an option to cater for people who do want realism and do want a real tactical challenge. Surely its not hard to do this but i guess they are selling out to the masses like everyone else.
ArmA is just like playing Operation Flashpoint but with better graphics, so on that grounds I loved it. I have been playing it since February using a German version of the game my sister got for me, and haven%26#39;t been dissapointed so far.
I picked up the Atari US release at GameStop (I know, I know.. I tried Fry's and they didn't have it in yet :() and I'm loving it so far.

Difficult as hell, yeah, but I already went into most OpFlash missions simply expecting to die. :D
Professional game reviewers are people ust like us.  While their English and writing skills may be more polished and they might have majored in journalism, they dont have any more of an idea of what a good game is than any of us avid video gamers.  They are people with their own opinions, and they are subject to fanboyism and hype as well. So, dont listen to them.  Or if you do, read the reviews in their entirity; dont just look at the score.
