Why do you play RTS games?

Do you play them because of the campaign, skirmish maps, multiplayer or other reasons?Skirmish mode is the only part of a RTS game im interested in playing.  I dont really care for the campaign or the multiplayer gameplay.Why do you play RTS games?
I play Starcraft because its got more than just skirmish.  Its got all these other innovative user created maps, that changes the gameplay.  Probably why people still play the game 9 years after its release.Why do you play RTS games?
I play for everything.
i have never bought a rts for the campaign, and sometimes don%26#39;t bother playing them - i mainly play skirmish, with a little multiplayer here and thereit%26#39;s often gotten me wondering why more fps games don%26#39;t have %26#39;smirmish%26#39; modes, randomised combat encounters like the kind of thing brothers in arms 2 had, or the 360 version of f.e.a.r - if rts games do it as standard, why not fps? i think it%26#39;d be pretty cool 
i play them for everything they have to offer. but for the most part i play the campaigns.
I dont play those kind of games
I mainly play the campaign and a little skrimish(If ai is strong enough) but do not play the multilayer.In my opinion Warcraft 3:Frozen throne has the best ai  for skrimish play its really challenging  on hard.
Only for skirmish or onlnie if my friends have the game too.
i mainly play the campaign. i%26#39;d play multiplayer but id get destroyed.
I play RTS games for everything they have to offer, like any other game. :
|Because they are more then random shooting.They require thinking. It%26#39;s like realtime chess. 
Mostly campaign. I dont care that much for most RTS%26#39;s to buy another copy for lanning.
I play mostly just for the campaign.
I am never interested in the MP aspect. It%26#39;s mostly the campaign and messing with the skirmishes when I am bored.IMO Lan > Online for RTS.

multiplayer the computer just can%26#39;t keep up with me ^.^ uber skills
Why do I play RTS games? Because they%26#39;re fun! Ill use Company of Heroes for an example. I love Company of Heroes because of the revolutionary gameplay, the awsome online battles, the intense tactical action, the beautiful graphics................. the list goes on and on.
The RTS I get is normally based on gameplay first so I guess I buy the game based on skirmish?  The campaign is always fun to play in most games.  Now for games like Supreme Commander, its all about skirmish or multiplayer because thats where the huge entertaining battles are.  However in games like Warcraft III, the campaign is what I like.  It depends on the game for me.
