Hellgate - Will it be the champion of PC gaming?

.40 Hour single player.CGI cut cut scenes .Uniqe blend of action and RPG, appealing to both hardcore MMO, RPG and FPS fans.Both free and P2P content online .Unlimited replay value in randomly generated areas(meaning that every time you go into an area it changes the next time you go in there, your never playing the same level again, ever).From the creators of Diablo 2  I am so phyched for this game. Its like a blend of medieval fantasy, demon/zombie horror and sci-fi. Templars, and fire sword, and high technology laser guns(over 100 different base weapons)!I simply cant wait for it... Its going to be aboslutely incredible. It does not look as good visually as crysis or mgs4, but the replay value and fun factor in this, is going to be off the freaking mother of all hooks! GOD!!! i%26#39;m just as stoked about HGL as the OP is, I%26#39;v dl like every single video just so i can drool at the awsome awesomeness. i even have the rss feed on my firefox. the only let down is that i won%26#39;t have a hectic pc to run it at max settings at 50+ frame rates.  Man this year is going to be an awesome year for pc gaming. just check the link in my sig for what I think will own. Obviously HGL is one of them.
I hope the game will be good, but I don%26#39;t want to get my hopes up.
Think I%26#39;ve become pretty jaded when it comes to believing anything in regards to what I see in game videos, screenshots etc...I was always one of those naiive players who believed everything devs would say about the game then end up so disappointed I nearly just stopped gaming.  Mostly now I sit and wait for other gamers to post for a month or two about the game so I know what part of the hype I can believe.(tho I did buy company of heroes without even trying the demo because player response to the game was so overwhelming....really glad I did too, definately a quality release)
they gameplay videos that i%26#39;ve seen were extremely unimpressive. looked like a simple hack%26#39;n%26#39;slash to me. but who knows, it might even turn out to be a good game.

Anyone who is that excited about a game, any game, is in for a HUGE disappointment.

hellgate is looking awesome to me - it%26#39;s not really anything new, it%26#39;s certainly been done before - but it%26#39;s like diablo 2 merged with doom and warhammer 40kdiablo 2 has some of the best skill %26 item based character development i%26#39;ve ever seen in a game and doom had awesome slaughter-hordes fps action with great weapons and cool, iconic enemies - and the merging of science fiction (technology) and fantasy (demons %26 magic) is one of the coolest things about warhammer 40kthree awesome elements from three of my favourite things to slaughter wave after wave of demons as well as develop a character in an awesome gothic science fantasy world... it%26#39;s gonna be awesome... it%26#39;s hardly a chamption of pc gaming, really, but it%26#39;s my most anticipated game after bioshock right now
I am definitely looking forward to the game.. I am having high hopes for the game and from what I heard it should be an awesome game! But i doubt it will be the champion of pc or the best pc game ever.

The game trailers are good enough to be made into a full lenght CGI film... but, they are never true representations of the real thing. Compare the trailers and the in game videos and you will see what I mean. However... The concept and story line with the huge collection of weapons, can make for an interesting game... Champion... er, let us wait and see!
I think it might have a chance, at least untill crysis is released.
i know the recent P2P announcements have made many angry, but I still think it looks so cool... i just pray that they wont shaft free users.
