XBOX 360 Wired Controller not compatible with Half Life 1?

topic^^ also it works with Mafia but its really touchy and VERY sensitive. Barely touching the right stick (which is what i use to aim) it goes all over the place. Why is it doing this, I downloaded the drivers and everything :(. Help Please. XBOX 360 Wired Controller not compatible with Half Life 1?

THe games simply weren%26#39;t made for anything besides mouse + keyboard. That is really the only way to play FPS on the pc, as using controllers will produce the effect you described. Its not that hard to get used to the mouse and keyboard.

ok look.. i have the 360 controller also... go to properties of the controller and reset the joystick.... thats what i did to fix my problem with the right stick...  another thing is that most FPS games dont work with the controller on the computer.. most of them are just built for JUST THE KEYBOARD AND MOUSE!!
