Stalker ending *Spoilers*

Ok so I just finished the game, I got the ''I want to be rich ending'' didn%26#39;t tell me anything. Basically who is this stalker and what do I find out in the 2 ''good'' endings??? I watched the endings on youtube but I still have no idea what was the point basically for this game, what is the story? At this point I know nothing about this character besides the few cut scenes in random places during the game. Any opinions? Stalker ending *Spoilers*
Lol i got the same ending and im somewhat confused myself. I think the story was that your character had amnesia and was trying to find out who he was and what he needed to do. I have no idea if im right or not but thats what i gathered. I want to know who Strelok was though. Stalker ending *Spoilers*
unfortunately you didn%26#39;t do all the main missions needed to get to the end, I did the same thing first (rich ending is when you have over 50,000)Basically all the missions related to Strelok are needed to be completed, including seeing the guide and the doctor and the laboratories. At the NPP you should not be talking to the wish granter for the ''real'' ending which fills the gaps in the story :)  *********minor SPOILERS*********THe wish granter is a fake ending, placed there by the zone creators to control the stalkers, you need to get the decoder and go in the door to the next section. There you not only find out the rest of the story but you get much more action (and gauss rifle fun times).. If you can go back to your save before pripyat and see the guide (assuming you found the stash) then the doctor the rest should be ok to go. And it%26#39;s also very worth doing tbh. 
Yep I'm on my second attempt too this time. I also got the rich ending because I didn't know better ;)

I wanna see a closure to the story as I'm still rather confused by the story itself. And this time it runs like a dream on my machine, unlike the first time I tried it.
I saved right before the wish granter so I got the I want to be rich ending first. Then reloaded to get the two true endings. The wish granter is always the bad endings and tricks stalker to their death. If you pay attention to the story you should find out who Strelok is before you reach the red forest.
