spambots are ruining wow

It%26#39;s gotten really bad.  Atleast a few times an hour, each hour, a spambot sends me a tell advertising some website selling gold, levels, or entire characters.  This is so rediculous.  It%26#39;s been going on for over a month and is getting worse.  What the hell are we paying $15 a freaking month for?  I%26#39;ve messaged the DMs once a day to the point they just send me an automated reply.  What bs.  You know what Blizzard?  It%26#39;s not worth $15 each month to sit through the same crap that ruined Diablo 2 (a free play game).  Goodbye WoW.spambots are ruining wow
yea ill agree with ya they are annoying, but not enough to make me quit the game.spambots are ruining wow
I quit WoW ages ago, but if a spam bot is enough to make you quit the game then obviously its the game that you have the real problem with.
In all honesty, the game has been ruined. :?
I can see why Blizzard can%26#39;t stop all advertisers, but what I can%26#39;t figure out is why the hell they can%26#39;t implement a flood-spam detector to prevent mass-whisper spammage across the server so only up to 3 people actually see the rest, while the account gets locked before the next 497..
you can download a mod that filters chat messages you get by what level the person is so you can basicly ignore the level 1 spam bots
The first day I got on this one server I was spammed by this idiot. GMs need to get a tighter grip on those idiots.
The first day I got on this one server I was spammed by this idiot. GMs need to get a tighter grip on those idiots.
They can%26#39;t, seriously. These guys have a script running that creates a character with a garbled named, loads on server, spams everyone, logs, delete toon, create on another, rinse %26 repeat until account is banned, then they just go and sign-up another WoW account and repeat......(apparently their advertisements work, else they%26#39;d have no cash to continue purchasing account after account to continue doing so)  Albeit that lvl1 filter as mentioned above sounds handy, I should look into that whenever I get back into WoW.(can%26#39;t afford two MMORPGs atm, both money %26 time-wise)
Upcoming spam protection features in next update
Upcoming spam protection features in next update
It took them two and a half years to put this in?  lmfao.  Pitiful.  Blizzard didn%26#39;t give a damn about Diablo 2 and they really don%26#39;t with WoW.  Hopefully Flagship Studios will do better with Hellgate London.
