Can't PC Halo 2 look like Halo 3?

I was just watching those Halo 3 beta movies for xbox 360, and it got me thinking. When halo 2 gets released for pc with its new editing abilities, won%26#39;t it be possible to make halo 3 skins for weapons, huds, even maps for play on the pc halo 2? Very much like in counterstrike today where you can make your guns look like pretty much anything. If so, I might actually consider buying halo 2 for pc as i dont have an xbox.Can't PC Halo 2 look like Halo 3?
