Any recent PC games REALLY worth forking over cash for?

Hey guys I was just wondering what recently released PC Games were worth forking over my cash for. I played the Supreme Commander demo, had fun, but I found it kind of slow. Tried C %26 C 3 as well, liked it a bit more but I%26#39;m not sure if the whole game is worth playing. Now STALKER... looks good but I%26#39;m not sure I want to be pissing my pants everytime I play it. Anyways, got any suggestions? ThanksAny recent PC games REALLY worth forking over cash for?

Maybe pick up Rome Total War, or if you feel like you wish to spend a bit more go for Medieval Total War 2. I can%26#39;t tell you how many hours I''ve spent playing RTW.
